Story & Mission
NONOBJECT is a design studio from Greece that specializes in creating utilitarian art objects and collectible pieces with an emphasis on high aesthetics, durability, and sustainability. The studio was established by Kosmas Serpetinis, whose family has a long-standing reputation in marble craftsmanship, originating from the Cycladic Island of Tinos, known for one of the world's most renowned sculpture and marble carving schools. Nonobject employs a blend of traditional handcrafted techniques passed down through generations and advanced robotic technology to produce one-of-a-kind quality objects from marble, wood, and Corian. The studio is committed to the principles of "slow design," encouraging conscious consumerism. Moreover, Nonobject's narrative revolves around the concept of repurposing scraps of marble and other materials, promoting upcycling as an integral aspect of its production ethos, and transforming waste into valuable objects.
